What is Novastart?
Novastart positions itself as an Infinite Canvas OS — not an image generator. It places the desktop apps you already use onto one infinite whiteboard, so you can zoom, pan, and keep separate spaces for projects. Teams share the same canvas with independent cursors and keyboards, and AI agents can work alongside you on that canvas. Public materials list contact at [email protected] (submitter: Thomas). Confirm current install platforms and access from your own network.
Key Features
- Infinite canvas whiteboard: Arrange everyday desktop apps on a zoomable, pannable board with saved canvases for different projects or contexts
- Team collaboration: Shared canvas where teammates each keep their own mouse and keyboard, instead of one-way screen sharing
- AI agents on the canvas: Agents that can operate beside you with their own cursors and keyboards; treat multi-agent claims as product marketing until you verify in your own workflow
Pricing
Listed as freemium on HList. Free tier available with limitations; paid plans may expand features or usage. We do not invent plan names or prices — check novastart.com for current pricing.
Limitations
- New tool — long-term reliability and support track record are unproven
- China access not yet verified (
cn_access: unknown); may require a non-CN network or VPN depending on your region - OS-style canvas + multi-agent collaboration claims are from public product copy; we have not independently stress-tested agent count, app compatibility, or team concurrency
- Feature set still evolving; expect breaking changes and shifting limits
- Freemium boundaries (what is free vs paid) should be confirmed on the official site before budgeting
Who is it for?
Teams and individuals who want a shared infinite whiteboard for running real apps side by side — planning, research, and multi-window work — with optional AI agents on the same canvas. Not a fit if you only need a dedicated image-generation tool.
