What this site is

HList is a public directory of AI tools. We publish listings, comparisons, and related editorial content. Sponsorship (Featured / review / newsletter) is optional paid placement.

Data we collect

Email subscriptions. If you subscribe to the weekly digest, we store your email, language preference, confirmation status, and unsubscribe token. We send a confirmation email first (double opt-in).
Tool submissions & updates. Name, URL, description, and contact email you provide so we can review and reply.
Comments & votes. Display name, comment text, optional account email (magic-link login), and vote records tied to a session or account.
Sponsorship payments. Card payments are processed by Creem (Merchant of Record). We do not see or store your full card number. Creem may send us your email, name, country, and order metadata so we can fulfill the sponsorship.
Server logs. Standard request metadata (IP, user-agent, path) may be processed by Cloudflare for security and reliability. We may aggregate crawler hits for public stats.

Cookies & analytics

We use Plausible Analytics (privacy-oriented, no advertising cookies). We do not run third-party ad trackers. Essential cookies may be used for login sessions if you use magic-link auth.

How we use data

Operate and improve the directory
Send the digest you opted into, and transactional mail (confirmations, sponsorship follow-up)
Moderate submissions, comments, and abuse
Fulfill paid sponsorships

We do not sell personal data. Affiliate links on the site never change what we list or how we describe tools.

Processors

Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, D1/KV storage, email routing
Resend — transactional and newsletter email delivery
Creem — payment processing / Merchant of Record
Plausible — analytics

Retention

Subscription records stay until you unsubscribe (or ask us to delete). Comments and submissions are kept while useful for the public directory or moderation. Payment/fulfillment records are kept as needed for accounting and dispute handling.

Your choices

Unsubscribe links are in every digest. To correct or delete personal data we hold, email [email protected]. For payment/billing questions about a Creem charge, contact Creem support as well — they are the Merchant of Record.

Children

HList is not directed at children under 16. Please do not submit personal information if you are under that age.

Changes

We may update this page. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
